"Hello Mabel" I waved at my old neighbor as I walked out of my house adjusting my purse. I know Amanda will be able to babysit Claire for a little while cos I was running late for my afternoon shift at the cafe.

"Wait!" I heard Claire shout behind me as I turned to see her running down the stairs of my apartment in the blue dress Amanda made for her. She still has a year to spend in fashion school but she comes to visit every chance she gets.

"I did not kiss you goodbye," She said as she stood on the tip of her toes and kissed my cheek I bent over for her to do so as I patted her head gently.

"Now you can go" She replied waving me and going back into the house.

I got into my car as I thought of Nathan. I haven't spoken to him in six months and I am trying so hard to deny it but I am not happy.
