The walk home was very tiring. Today has been stressful for me, Meeting Nathan after a long time and unknowingly cooking for him and his mother.

All this happened in 8 hours, what was I thinking? Accepting the job must have been a bad idea. I wasn't even a real chef, everything I know I learned from my mum.

When I was little we could hardly afford good food but my mom is the best cook I know, she can throw things together and it will still make sense, she had wanted to become a chef that was her dream.

Thinking about my mum brought tears to my eyes, I need to go visit her one of these days, I hated going there and seeing my mum on that bed unable to move. That was the reason why I accepted this new job, It will pay me more than what I am currently earning from working two shifts a day.

I just need a little more to complete the money for the surgery, If I work hard and don't get fired, I'll be able to pay up faster than I expected.
