Chapter 27 - Delivery Man's Proposal

After Nancy was through with her meal, she went back to her office and decided to ignore all those who were jealous of her, as she couldn't quit her job. Neither did she want to stoop so low as to their level of toxicity and quarrel with them. She was glad that Mrs. Aria wasn't a jealous woman, probably because Mrs. Aria was a married woman and didn't have time to be jealous of her fellow single ladies.

"How are you feeling now?" Mrs. Aria asked her, just as Nancy settled into her office seat, which was in the same glass office as Mrs. Aria.

"I'm a lot better now, thanks," Nancy replied with a smile.

"You're welcome," Mrs. Aria smiled back at her.

"Here are the remaining files that you need to work on, as I have worked on the previous files. Probably next week, I will teach you how to upload the new files into our computer," Mrs. Aria said, and Nancy only replied, "Okay."

Nancy collected the files from Mrs. Aria's desk, and this time, she was faster with her work.
