Chapter 26 - Nancy Worries

CEO Jerry paced about in his office at first before finally walking up to his huge desk and sitting down.

Thinking for a while, he knew that he had some clients waiting who wanted to meet with him.

He clicked impatiently on his office desk and finally picked up the office phone to call Mrs. Aria.

"Send your assistant into my office to see me," he said in a cold voice.

Mrs. Aria was taken aback by his order, thinking he wanted to say, "Send the clients into my office."

"Boss, do you mean my assistant or the clients waiting?" Mrs. Aria nervously asked. The office line went silent for a while before she heard him say, "You heard me clearly, didn't you? Send your assistant first. I would like to speak with her, and don't ask me again."

The call disconnected, and Mrs. Aria gulped as she tilted her head and stared towards Nancy's desk.

Nancy smiled at her, wondering why Mrs. Aria was staring at her.

"Miss Sophia, the boss requests that you should see him now," Mrs. Aria informed Nancy.

"Me?"
