As it is a tradition in Christian's house, when it is 8:00 PM, everyone has to be around the dining table for dinner and no one is to be absent.

He had come back home with his father. His father visited just a few days ago and he was here again.

Happy are those who have fathers, who can come around as often.

After he had greeted everyone in the living room and gone up the stairs with his father, I went into my room so that I could prepare and come back to the living room to join the others for dinner.
