Fifty eight

Alex took his brief case and walked past the dinning area, he was going to work but he needed to stop by the cemetery first.

“Are you leaving already?” Luna asked, she was sitting on a chair in the dinning area, eating breakfast.

She had been staying with Alex for about 2 months now and even though they barely ever talked at home, Luna always did all she could so she could so he could engage her but he wouldn’t.

On must days he pretended like he was living alone and rearly ever said a word to her. He passes by her and only responds to her greetings when she says something.

He wanted nothing to do with her and couldn’t wait for her to give birth to the baby.

“Yes, I am,” he replied.

“You should eat breakfast before leaving,” she suggested.

“No, thank you,” he said.

Alex was about to walk on when she spoke again.

“Happy birthday,” She said.

It was his birthday today and even though he was trying to forget about it, she had brought it back to his memory.
