Chapter 20

Kelly sat at the restaurant looking desperately around for any sign of her sister. Kaylee had called her yesterday and they agreed to meet up together at a restaurant.

“Oh I hope I’m in the right restaurant”, Kelly muttered to herself. She tried Kaylee’s number again, it rang but no response. Kaylee had earlier told her that she would be there in a few minutes time but it’s almost forty minutes beyond the time she was supposed to be here.

Kelly looked around once more before spotting her sister at the other side of the street, waiting for the traffic sign before crossing. She heard her phone ring,

“I am so sorry for keeping you waiting, I’ll be there in a few seconds”, Kaylee said.

“oh it’s no problem, I can see you from where I sit”

“Oh that’s great”, Kaylee said and ended the call. She located Kelly’s table and went over.

“Oh dear, I didn't mean to keep you waiting, yunno how traffic are these days”, Kaylee said as soon as she sat down.
