Chapter 21

“I said let go of her”, Daniel said with rage, this time causing Xander to jump as he let go of me completely.

“What were you doing with her?”, Daniel roared

“No..nothing sir, I was just…”, Xander stammered

“Shut the hell up and leave this place”, Daniel ordered and Xander scurried away.

Kelly stood there watching the whole scene, she was scared and felt like the whole world was on her chest. Her vision became blurry and her eyes stung, as she wiped her eyes with her palms, she noticed tears, she was crying. She suddenly felt the urge to cry the pain out, the hurt, the shame and the fact that Daniel had to watch her fight off her ex-boyfriend. She felt scared of what would have happened if Daniel did not come to her aid. Xander was a guy that would do anything to get what he wanted.

“Are you okay?”, Daniel asked with a concerned look.

“I'm fine," Kelly replied, crying more.
