Nate’s POV

“How did it even happen?” Avery asked as he fell into my bed and flopped on it a little. After a few seconds, he was pushing himself into a sitting position and grabbing on one of the pillows on the bed to pull into himself and wrap his arms around. I was still standing in the middle of the room when he had decided to ask that question, and although I knew exactly what he was talking about, I still decided to play dumb because I most definitely wasn’t looking forward to having that conversation with him tonight.

I walked towards my closet and start to pull out a pair of sweats which I was going to be lending Avery to sleep in tonight.
