Chapter 20

Nate’s POV

It’s been a few days since I went to my dad’s company, it’s been three days since I last saw my best friend, after he came over here to spend the night with me, it’s been three days since I left the house… I felt almost depressed.

It felt like I was slowly sinking into a deep hole of sadness, depression and over-thinking, making me feel more sadder, less motivated to do a damn thing or even bother leaving the house to get a damn thing done. I had some things to do at the office, some files to sort out and other stuff, but then, that would have to be put on wait because I was avoiding my dad’s company as well.

I haven’t bothered to pick up my father’s call since the day when I had walked out of the conference room, as soon as the woman who I was supposed to get married to, arrived along with her father and brother.

I knew he was undoubtedly going to be even more disappointed in me, he’d probably feel the most disappointment in me than he had ever felt for me before. M
