Chapter 24

It was yet a brand new day in the home of the Parkers. And the day was just beginning to take shape. Edward paced about in the living room with his hands behind his back as he looked at the floor.

The incident that unfolded between Charles and Jean the previous day coupled with all the bad things that had happened within a short period got him worried.

Edward paused for a second and lifted his head. He feasted his eyes on the glowing interior of the living room. Fine fabrics covered the windows. Glowing artificial flowers shone in the vases they had been kept.

Everything in the room looked astonishing and gave off a vibe of hope, class and happiness. Edward thought the interior goodness was in sync with his home and life, till Fiona came into the picture. Now everything looked bizarre in his family.

“Eddy love, you left the bedroom without saying a word, Is everything okay?” Cynthia, who had walked into the living room asked and moved toward her husband.

“Dear, talk to me,” Cynthia sa
