Chapter 101: Memory loss

The entire family stood anxiously outside the room as the doctor examined Dolores. Everyone was nervous as they wanted her to be okay. They had just gotten her back and they didn’t want to lose her again.

After what seemed like forever, the door opened and the doctor finally came out. “Doctor, how is she?” Tyrone asked before Lucas could.

“Her physical state as well as the mental one isn’t doing too good. For starters, she is extremely malnourished. And it seems, she had been given injections and medications that were to make sure she didn’t regain her memory and they messed with her body further.

According to what you told me she said right before she lost unconsciousness, I’m led to believe she regained a bit of her memory but her body wasn’t strong enough to handle it and so she fainted,” the doctor told the family.
