Chapter 37: Something in common

Even though Zendaya’s voice wasn’t loud, Lucas was able to hear how Jayden’s name came out as a growl.

This was shocking to him as he was confused as to why Zendaya said Jayden’s Gerano’s name like this. His answer came almost immediately when he remembered what had happened between Zendaya and Jayden when he first set eyes on her.

“You don’t like him?” he chuckled.

“No,” Zendaya answered. “He pushed me because he didn’t want to share the swing with me,” she stated. "If I see him again, I'll push him too and pull his hair,” she stated firmly.

Wow, the little girl and he had something in common when it came to forgiving and forgetting; it didn't exist in their dictionary.

“And while you pull out Jayden’s hair, pull out his father’s hair as well as I don’t like him,” Lucas said and Zendaya chuckled.

“Don’t laugh too loudly, or you’ll wake your mummy who is resting,” Lucas scolded as he placed her down on the bed.

Zendaya immediately turned and looked at her mother. Her face contorte
