Chapter 39: What's going on?

‘Brute,’ Kiandra muttered under her breath as she followed him.

He walked to the stairs and headed downstairs to the kitchen to get a bottle of water and Kiandra followed him.

When he brought out a bottle of water, he handed it over to Kiandra and then brought out some drugs from his pocket.

He had sent his men to get it for Kiandra early this morning so she could use it as soon as she woke up just as the doctor had prescribed.
