Chapter 38: The morning after

“Stay safe,” Kiandra kissed Zendaya on the forehead and she immediately left.

The closest pharmacy was a ten-minute walk from there. She couldn’t easily get a taxi from where she lived and so she immediately started walking.

On her way to the pharmacy, she noticed that she was being followed by a man. She couldn’t quite tell when she had noticed him, but she could tell that he was following her.

Having almost been killed, she felt chills creeping up her spine. Was this another one sent to kill her? She wondered.
