“No, I don’t want to go to school!” Zendaya whined and tears started to drop from her eyes.

Kiandra became confused as to how to speak to her daughter. She looked at Lucas, who was acting as though he didn’t know what was going on.

“I could talk to her but then you don’t like me talking to your daughter,” Lucas shrugged casually when he noticed her staring at him through the mirror.

And though Kiandra couldn’t see his face as she was in the backseat, she could tell he was grinning.

“Mummy,” Zendaya whined, drawing Kiandra's attention back onto her.

“Fine, talk to her,” Kiandra said.

“Why not leave us alone,” Lucas suggested, and Kiandra didn’t hesitate in leaving the car as she needed a wave of fresh air.

Besides, he was a mastermind when it came to getting people to do what he wanted. He was just what Zendaya needed.
