“Seriously?” Kiandra remarked. “Did you put her up to this?” she asked in an accusatory tone.

The Zendaya she knew wasn’t a violent child. She had started spending time with him, and this was already happening.

“No, I didn't, she came up with this herself. I only asked her to pull his hair,” Lucas said, pointing at Justin who, in return, glared at him and ignored Lucas and she stepped forward.

“Zendaya, that’s enough. Please just let go of his hair and then we can talk about this,” she spoke to her daughter.

“He pushed me because I wanted to play on the swing. That’s not nice,” Zendaya whined and she pulled his hair even more.

“I know but what you’re doing isn’t nice as well. Let’s go, please, for mummy’s sake,” she added to cajole her daughter.

Zendaya thought about her mother’s words for a few seconds, after which she slowly let go of Jayden’s hair. Casting one last look at him, she ran straight to Lucas, who gave her a high five as he was happy with what she did.
