Chapter 68: A fight for her family.

“Here is the footage of what happened two minutes before and five minutes after you sent that message,” Liam said and he gave Kiandra his tablet to see for herself.

Kiandra collected the tablet and she played the footage Liam had just spoken about.

It was a video of Lucas in his office and sitting in the chair across from him was Daira. Even though the CCTV was above them, she could see that Lucas wasn't happy to see Daira there.

She was the one doing the talking about how her family sent her there to sort out some issues.

Lucas' phone suddenly rang distracting him from Daira. He immediately answered the call and he rose up on his feet ten minutes later.

"I'll be there soon," he said and he dropped his phone on the table so he could pack a few documents.

"Lucas, what about the meeting we're having," Daira complained bitterly.

"We'll reschedule that to some other time," Lucas replied. "The guards will see you out," he said and left the room.

Daira also rose up to leave when she hear
