Chapter 10: A Happy Never After Marriage

Archer managed to break the lock on my apartment. Maybe using the screwdriver I've seen outside my door. I put my keys on top of the table and then pressed the button for the dim lights to open.

"Do you know what time it is already?" he inquired as if he was a caring husband waiting for his beloved wife.

My eyebrows twitched. "It's just nine in the evening. Almost ten," I retorted back. "It's late. You broke my lock."

Archer let out a scoff in his mouth before he drank all the wine in his glass. He stood up, walked toward where my location was until the light came across his face.

He was looking at me angrily and he seemed to intuitively willing to attack me any moment from now.

"I'm your husband and I'm allowed to come inside my wife's house." He remarked.

"As far as I can remember, you didn't treat me as one and kicked me out of your house. Tell me, what are you doing here?"
