A Convo

Richie stared pointedly at his phone which was clasped in his slightly shaky hands in confusion. He wasn’t fully recovered but he was done being made to sit around and wait like an overfed baby.

He tried moving out of bed but as soon as he moved, he felt a head splitting headache wrack his skull, this making him to sit still and wait until it subsided.

Right now, he was confused and was still contemplating on whether to call Gordon’s cell phone or not but no matter how much he thought about it, calling Gordon still felt like the best option to him… and a wrong option too.

He didn’t know how Gordon would take his sudden disappearance and appearance and knew that Gordon was smart enough to link it all up to Kate and he didn’t want that.

Hell, he missed Kate and wanted to hold on to every last piece of thread that would serve as a fuel to their already faded out love, but he also knew it was insane. What if she doesn’t want him anymore?

…or worse still, he gets her in trouble?
