A Dream

Richie thrashed wildly in his sleep as he kept having a series of nightmares that he just couldn’t seem to get a grasp of.

There were times in his sleep when he had seen Kate in danger, and in some other scenes, he was the one in danger. They plagued his sleep, making him thrash around on his bed.

Beads of sweat gathered on his forehead and even soaked through his overalls, thus making him quite uncomfortable but then he was snapped back into reality when he felt something soft brush past his arm in a gentle manner.

He snapped his eyes open, ready to attack but then exhaled in relief when he saw that the intruder was a doctor who had come in to check on him.

The doctor was a middle aged man who had a stethoscope wrapped around his neck. For a moment, it almost seemed like he didn’t know what he was doing for he stood still

“Good morning Mr Winston,” the doctor greeted with a half smile tugging at his lips which Richie returned with a confused stare.
