"Bang"
When the shot rings out, I dive for the floor and cover my head with my hands. Listening, I wait to hear if there will be anymore. Hearing nothing but screams, I peek my head up over the bench and glance around the room.
It's complete pandamonium and everyone is running, crouching or screaming. Finally, someone yells out "He has been hit" and I stand up trying to see who it is. Walking over to the crowd, I see Mr. Caprico laying on the ground in a pool of blood, dead.
The court officer turns to me and remarks, "One gun shot, straight through the head. Impressive." He shrugs his shoulders and walks to the landline on the judge's bench before calling for help.
Apparently, everyone in the court house had heard the commotion, because before he could hang up, a series of policemen burst through the door with guns drawn. They tell everyone, "Put your hands up." b
Thank You all.
"What do you mean he won't sign the papers and make it official?" Dean scratches his forearm and tries to understand what has just happened. After leaving the house, I find myself sitting in the car in the driveway. More pissed off then I have ever been in my life, I realize that I am fighting a losing battle with him. Turning to Dean who is utterly confused, I lean towards him and kiss him knowing that I will never be able to fully be with him or marry him. "It's exactly what I said. Brad refuses to divorce me unless I stop seeing you. He hates me so much that he doesn't ever want to see me completely happy." I take a deep breath and scream at the top of my lungs. "What a total dickhead!" Surprised by my action, Sam starts laughing in the backseat and resets the mood. We both look in the back at her and start laughing with her. She comments, "You do know that you could always have him killed.
"Jenna, can you talk to Sam for me? I really pissed her off by asking her to marry me, but she said no. When I found out that she is pregnant with my little one, I automatically thought to." Brad asks sincerely. Shaking my head because I know full well that she lied to me, I say with anger in my voice, "Yes and don't worry, I will get to the bottom of this. She had told me that you didn't want to have anything to do with her or the baby and you fired her just as soon as you found out." "Thanks, I really appreciate it. I am sorry about earlier, I was upset because I do love Sam and now the baby. Really, I guess I just took my frustrations out on you." "Well, do you think the two of us can come up with some agreement finally?" "Yes. I just need Sam back, I miss her terribly and no one else compares. You of all people should understand that, I know that's how you feel about Dean after all." Nodding, I ans
After getting in bed, I just turn on my side so Dean can snuggle up to me when we hear a knock at the door. Grumbling, I get up and throw on my robe before answering it. When I do open the door, Sam is staring back at me and she actually looks happy. She states, "I did it. I told him what I needed and he agreed to it all. Now we just have to come up with a wedding date, preferably before little one here is born." Sighing, I say, "Well, I am so happy for you but can we talk about this in the morning? I am so tired I feel like I am going to just fall over dead." Looking upset, she answers, "Yeah, of course. I just wanted to throw some ideas at you, but it can wait till the morning. You two have a good night." Watching her walk away, a tinge of regret hits me, but I am so tired I shut the door and go back to bed. The next morning, I wake up before Dean and lay there watching him sleep. He looks so pea
"Oh, I love it." Nora says to Sam as she looks at her pick of colors for the wedding. Later in the day, Nora shows up to visit. They both get along so well, that I sit pleased with myself and watch them converse happily about the wedding plans. Sam asks Nora, "Would you be my Matron of Honor? Jenna doesn't think it would be proper if I have her in the wedding party so I need someone who isn't involved in all this mess." "Heck, yeah. I have never been in a wedding before. That would be so awesome. Thank you for asking me." Nora gets excited and gives Sam a hug. I sit back and just watch everything going on, while I think about how weird it will be to divorce Brad finally. The last five years of my life I have been married to him, even though we were never "truly married." It always seemed like some dream that I couldn't wake up from, like maybe I was in a coma and I couldn't wake up no mat
"Who is Angela" I pretend not to care and ask nonchalantly. Turning to answer me, he glances at me and then over to the corner. Sighing, he answers quietly, "Angela was my girlfriend in high school. We were in love secretly, until one day her dad found out and they moved out of town the next day. See, she was African American and when her parents got wind of us being together, he couldn't take the embarassment." He closes his eyes and then continues, "The next time I heard from her, I found out that she was pregnant with my baby and that was just not something her dad would allow. She pleaded with me to come get her, but being still in high school I had no way of coming for her. I didn't even have a job, let alone a car. The next time I heard from her, she wrote me that letter and told me that her dad pushed her down the stairs so she would have a miscarriage. She said she would always love me, but knowing I didn't come
Hearing someone pounding I wake up. "Help me please. I need Dean to take me to the hospital." I hear Sam screaming before I open the door and she runs in. With blood everywhere, I start to freak out and ask frantically, "What has happened?" Crying, Sam barely can get out, "I have to go to the hospital now!" With all the commotion, it wakes up Dean and he throws on a pair of jeans and a long sleeve shirt, jumping into action. He picks Sam up and carries her to the front door and then kicks it open. Carrying her out to the car, I hurry and throw on jeans, bra and a sweater before meeting them in the car. Not wasting time, he already has his cell phone and is dialing 911. Notifying them that we will be there in about ten minutes, he waits for me to get in and drives off. He speeds down the road, narrowly missing a deer standing in the middle, but corrects the car and gets back in his lane. In record
"Hey, do you think that I should try to get pregnant again right away so Brad doesn't ever know that I lost the first one?" Sam asks softly. "Hmm. I don't know. Starting a marriage with a secret like that is always a bad idea. It was bad enough that I had to marry someone I didn't even know, but if I had a secret it would make it tons worse." She hesitates and then mutters, "Oh." When she looks at me again, I can see the sadness in her eyes. For the life of me, I don't know why I say this, but when I do I surprise myself. "Sam, if it makes you feel better I will be in your wedding." She looks up and smiles brighter than I have seen in quite a while. Her whole demeanor changes and she becomes the Sam I first knew. "Do you mean a bridesmaid or something?" She asks. I am just about to respond, when I hear Dean say, "Fuck!" in the next room. We look at each other and go to investigate.
"Stop." The bouncer yells and grabs Dean by the shirt, forcing him to retaliate. When Dean was in prison, he learned how to fight so he efficiently takes the bouncer down and we make our escape. Running out the door, Sam screams when one of the bouncers grabs her and Dean is forced to go back. He punches him square in the jaw and takes ahold of Sam's hand. In the car, we take a breath when he drives out of the parking lot before we see all the police cars coming our way. Dean drives along with traffic and they completely pass us by. When we get back to the house, I about faint from all the excitement. I can't believe that it all went down that way. Deciding that we better call it quits for the night, I walk to the bedroom and Dean tells Sam, "Goodnight." before he heads in too. When he appears in the doorway, he has a smirk on his face. Picking me up and throwing me down on th
