Chapter 39: There Is Simply No Way
"What do you mean he won't sign the papers and make it official?" Dean scratches his forearm and tries to understand what has just happened.
After leaving the house, I find myself sitting in the car in the driveway. More pissed off then I have ever been in my life, I realize that I am fighting a losing battle with him. Turning to Dean who is utterly confused, I lean towards him and kiss him knowing that I will never be able to fully be with him or marry him.
"It's exactly what I said. Brad refuses to divorce me unless I stop seeing you. He hates me so much that he doesn't ever want to see me completely happy." I take a deep breath and scream at the top of my lungs. "What a total dickhead!"
Surprised by my action, Sam starts laughing in the backseat and resets the mood. We both look in the back at her and start laughing with her. She comments, "You do know that you could always have him killed.
