Karis woke up the next morning with a slight headache and an anger he could not place. He shook his head in a bid to clear the fog but that only made the pounding worse. He got up, threw on a track suit and a pair of trainers and decided to go jogging.

Bathed, dressed and feeling a lot better, he arrived at the office by ten am, when all hell broke loose. April his secretary rushed into the office, her heels clicking against the tiles and she had lost some of the grace she always infused into her step, she seemed very upset. "Good morning Karis, I --"

"Good morning to you too April, calm down a bit and take a breath."

She obeyed, breathing in slowly and then out. "Okay, first of all, I removed the morning papers from your desk, I thought you'll need a heads up before you see them and also I --"

Karis stretched out his hand, palm up. "Bring in all the papers April, then you can continue talking."

"Listen to me first Karis, I --"

He raised a brow. "Now April."
