Chapter Fifty Four

Elyon woke up to Cesar thrashing around on the bed in the throes of a nightmare probably and she sat up. He sounded like he was in pain and she became worried that he'd do something to hurt himself in the process.

“Cesar!". She called not wanting to go near him to avoid being hit. "Wake up Cesar it’s only a dream.”

Cesar groaned as he began wrestling with an invisible person. He was sweating profusely and she didn’t think he’d wake up by himself. She moved closer to him which was a mistake because out of nowhere his arm drew back and he hit her eye with his elbow…hard making her cry out in pain.

Cesar woke up then but was disoriented for awhile before he got himself and his head whipped around to look at Elyon who had one hand to her eye.

“Babe...did...did I hit you?”. He asked in a raspy voice.

“I moved too close". Elyon said. It hurt like a bitch and she hoped the blow had not damaged her eye. It wouldn't be fun to wear a eye patch. She wasn't even worried about herself but Cesar. P
