As Promised

He lit a cigarette and puffed out a few puffs of smoke. His eyes were focused on a single point, a deep and terrifying gaze. Angie was his past. He could not shirk his responsibility. Even if he was as rich as a king, he could not change the past that had happened.

Perhaps it was because they had met too late. If the person he had first met was Avery, there would not be so much pain and twists between them! Right now, the only thing he could do was to use all of his strength to love and make up for Avery.

After extinguishing the cigarette butt in the ashtray, he dialed his assistant's number. "The schedule will be changed to one week, and I'll be free for five days after the contract is signed."

"But next week you have an important teleconference with Mr. Smooch, and..."

The assistant reminded him, Blake always had a packed schedule, and he really wanted to give in to forty-eight hours per day. Now that he was suddenly left empty-handed for five days, it was simply a fantasy story.
