Chapter 36 "Her Reason"

Harriet did not have the extra time to process what’s going on as Zion pulled her on the way to nowhere.

Basically, Zion does not know where his office located at. Although he already went here a couple of times, it’s impossible to guess where his office at among the many rooms in the huge buildings. Harriet thought she should lead the way but not now.

Zion’s head is so red, like a bull preparing to charge forward. He looks so angry that it reminded Harriet the same expression she saw when they heard Cassius’ confession to the chairman yesterday.

She isn’t sure why he’s so mad like this. However, she, herself too, fell into the confusion. Not only Cassius declared his love in front of the mansion’s servants, but he also did this in front of the employees.

‘Just what is he thinking?!’ Harriet exclaimed inwardly.

Zion and her walked inside the elevator. He pressed the close button. When the background went quiet and the two of them are alone, Harriet felt the heavy air between them.
