Chapter 40 "The Spring Died"

Harriet’s POV

The two of us arrived outside the condominium building. After I gave him the answer for his question, Zion just smiled and said, “Yes. You’re right . Now, it’s like that.”

Then we did not talk furthermore.

We both hopped outside the car and Zion handled me the car key.

“Take care on your way back to the mansion, okay?” he reminded.

I nodded my head.

“And tomorrow, picked me up to work. Can you do that?”

I am his secretary so there’s no way I can decline the task.

Once again, I nodded my head. “Yes. I will.”

“Alright. See you tomorrow~”

Zion turned his back against me and started to walk away. Looking at his back which growing father and farther, I remembered the question he asked me just a moment ago.

[“What am I to you, Harriet?”]
