Chapter 43 "The Chairman is confused"

It was a clear night and as quiet as a graveyard. Only now and then I heard footsteps, a dog bark, or a car passing the street from the long distance.

Sitting on my bed, I listened at the faint sound of footsteps which are getting louder and louder. The sound stopped in my room and my eyes went towards the door.
