Chapter 95.

(Kim's Point of View)

I got to the address Evy sent me around 10 am. It was a restaurant and I was glad it was less congested as I spotted her at the corner waving at me.

I advanced, striding in unprecedentedly faster steps and when I got there, I occupied a seat on the opposite side. I took off my glasses and placed them on the table.

"Wow, you don't look too good," Evy observed.

I bobbed. "You look great too." I exhibited a taut smile. She looked tensed, I could also see furrows at the top of her forehead and her eyes were ruddy and tender as if she has been crying.

"Yeah, you're right. You are an industrious woman and I will not want to take much of your time." She began. "Your child was taken a few days ago I heard."

Again I nodded. "Your ex-husband is a maniac and he's getting out of control but my son is fine and I'm glad you called me out. I want to believe no one knows we are meeting today?"

She instantly shook her head. "No one does. Seb had a car mishap last night."
