CHAPTER THIRTY _ ONE

Nora sat still in her seat, trying to figure out what to do. She picked up her phone and texted Chris even though he was seated right in front of her. She wouldn't risk drawing Allison's attention to herself. What if she said something and Allison caught them?

She was more concerned about Chris. She wouldn't want Allison to see them together even. She wouldn't mind if she was seen alone. Her eyes caught Chris's disguise cap on his table.

Chris's phone vibrated, and he picked it up almost immediately. He saw the text from Nora and raised his head to look at her. She smiled at him, and he opened the text, wondering why Nora texted him when they were together.

He read the text, and his eyes widened when he read that Allison was behind them. He quickly picked his face cap from the table and gave Nora an assuring smile that they wouldn't get caught.
