CHAPTER 62: Birthday morning

Talk about a man who plans a vacation in the middle of the road after a night of intimacy, and the name Miles Pierce shows up. I couldn't even argue with him when he announced that we were going away on a vacation. Even though I nagged him about not giving me prior notice and discussing things with me, the man simply told me to sit still and enjoy my princess treatment. I took his advice anyway.

We packed up and flew off in his private plane, with him tucking me in after my episode of flight fear. I slept throughout the flight. Miles didn't tell me where we were headed, and we didn't go through the rigorous airport inspection process. Damn! There were perks to wealth and power, and having everything at your disposal was at the top of that list.
