I waited for a few seconds after I felt my make-up artist stop. Something about the silence that filled the room told me to open my eyes and when I did. I saw Kairos' reflection. He is all dressed up for the rehearsal and he has something on his hand that he is trying to hide from me.

Kairos glanced at my glam team and then back to me. He told me to tell them to leave the two of us alone for a few seconds and so I did.
