Rose felt like she was walking on clouds as she drove out of the Blackstone Corp compound. It was a relief that Chelly had been a good girl and not embarrassed her there. It had been a while since she had been this relaxed and happy. It felt like a dream to think that she was finally free from Jack Edgar’s lecherous shackles.
Today had been so wonderful. She had gotten a new job which paid more with a better position and a bigger platform than the former.
