EVE'S POV

Jamboree? I frowned, my gaze shifting from Tom to the bimbo that just approached us. Our soup hadn't even gotten to us yet and I was already being served. My husband laughed at the sight of his mistress, rising to his feet. 

"Carla!" He cheered, spreading his arms wide. "It has been a while. Haven't seen you since that Jamboree in Santa Monica,"

Santa Monica? What on earth were they talking about? When did they meet? The corner of my eyes burned and I looked away from them, glancing around to see if the people in the restaurant were watching my humiliation. 

They were.  

A few women even had the look of pity on their faces. Tom paid me no heed. He was all engrossed in his Santa Monica woman, talking excitedly with her.

Why is Eve so wimpy and whiny, she should have stayed gone and told Adam what POS Tom is and what he does, come on Eve , think harder , your a smart lady

Why Would a Woman not walk away when it gets really bad, why would you let a man treat you as his punching bag in a city where Justice can be served! this is soo painful to read. I'll castrate his balls in his sleep.
