“You may go through, ma’am.” The security said monotonously, waving me through the humongous black gates that led into the premises of Rodri’s billion dollar mansion.

I smiled and eased my heeled foot on the accelerator, moving my car forward. I could never get used to the raw splendor and majestic beauty of Rodri’s place no matter how many times I have been here.

It was modern, sleek, with most of it’s walls made of solid glass, to match his taste. And he had excellent taste.

Which was why it was my ultimate goal to become his wife, so all of this, in addition to the many other properties he owned within and outside the country, would be all mine. And that of my unborn baby.
