Trinity’s POV

The entrance of the cheap driver into the interrogation room destabilized me for a split second. I thought he already confessed to Angela and her husband what we had that night and I mentioned him out of impulse, which I was already starting to regret.

I didn’t want to say that but I was at a dead end, I needed to get myself off the mess I was in. Though I still couldn’t believe the results of the DNA tests Angela threw at me proved whatever she claimed.

The cheapskate driver’s hands started shaking as he tried in vain to open the door and leave.

“It’s him what?” Rodri scoffed.

I could see the confusion on his face mirror on his parents face. But Vanessa kinda looked indifferent, like she knew what the next thing I’d say.
