Chapter 10

It has been one week since Lavender was chased out of her home. She had been working tirelessly to help earn money for her grandfather’s medication. Not once has she come across Jeffrey and his family. She thought that they were probably doing better since she, the eyesore, was out of their way.

After an exhausting day, Lavender arrived home together with her friend. Stella has been of great help to her. She gave up her bed for Lavender's grandfather and Lavender was so touched that she cried when her friend was not noticing. 

Although she always appeared calm and strong on the surface, the truth was that, every night before she slept, she would always cry her heart out before falling asleep. She missed her parents so much that she did not know what else to do apart from crying her heart out.

"Hey, have you heard anything from those bastard?" Stella asked as each one of them took a sofa and lied down.
