Chase

I concentrated on my work. I wanted to finish all the things I had to do as soon as I can so I could accompany my baby.

Rachel would soon be done with the game they were playing.

I had to be done with my work before she arrives.

My family, the Williams had billions in wealth and assets.

Everybody in the Williams family could survive numerous lifetimes on the wealth we have accumulated across the years alone.

Still, each of our generation could not avoid manning the helm of the Steel Cell Group.

There was no way to avoid the work and I wasn't willing to let this whole heritage disappear.

Besides, I was willing to work hard to provide more for Rachel.

I had to make her as comfortable as she can be in this life.

It was my duty.

A small smile tugged at my lips at the thoughts of Rachel.

She was a light that was lighting up the gross darkness I was steeped in.

I was not going to ever let her go.

Getting away from me would just be wishful thinking on her part.
