Chase led me to the huge doors of the exquisite mansion before us.

He didn't get to do anything before the door swung open.

A middle-aged man with a polite smile held the door open.

He was in uniform that had just two colors, white and black.

His black hair was slicked back with gel.

There was not anything out of place with his dressing, expression and actions.

"Master, you are back." He greeted and Chase nodded in acknowledgement.

"Where is grandmother?" Chase asked as he folded the sleeves of his white shirt.

He had discarded the suit jacket ages ago.

He left the suit jacket in the car.

"Old Madame and Madame are in the living room." The butler said.

The butler began to lead the way.

Chase and I followed silently.

Chase held my hand.

I did not know that a tiny layer of sweat had gathered in my palm.

"Don't be nervous." Chase consoled me again.

I nodded and he squeezed my hand in encouragement.

I smiled at him.

Soon, we arrived at the living room.
