For a moment, I thought I was seeing wrongly.

Chief Stone's finger can't be pointing to me.

It had to be wrong.

I stared at him intensely.

Truly, his short finger was pointing straight at me. I was not mistaken at all.

The natural fear of the unknown and the Chief's cruelty made me flinch unconsciously.

I folded onto myself as I push my body mass against the wall I was leaning on.

I did not mean to be pessimistic but I knew there was no way out for me right now.

He looked satisfied with his choice.

Rufus burst into smiles, "You have good eyes, Chief. We just brought her today. She is new goods. She is pure and untrained, just as you like them."
