A banging headache assaulted me the moment I regained consciousness.

I didn't move. I laid in the position those kidnappers put me.

I was in a moving vehicle and everywhere was dark.

Only a little bit of the red sun that was setting slipped into the vehicle once in a while.

I felt anger when I recalled how I got here.

I was just trying to do good works.

I regretted it so much.

I was not opposed to a person doing good works but I had to wonder. Why did I give in to this particular urge?

I was hungry and weak.

I had exhausted all my strength trying to escape those men.
