"What?!" I asked as I approached him speedily.

For a brief second, I thought I heard my head ring.

"Sir, Miss Rachel is missing." Mark repeated.

No.

How can she go missing?

"You were supposed to protect her. Why did I put you in charge of her safety if I knew you would be this useless?" I asked in a murderous voice.

I searched my pockets for my phone but it wasn't there.

It can't be.

I put my phone in my pocket when I alighted from my car.

If it fell, I would have noticed.

There was only one way my phone disappeared as soon I entered this mansion.

Someone took it.

The only person that had bodily contact with me was my mother.
