Rachel

As I walked away from the hall Chase booked for himself, I felt my heart send signals of pain to my brain.

I could not breath.

Something that was second nature to me before became unfamiliar.

I went back to the hot spring section Chase had booked for the normal employees.

I don't know where he situated the higher ups and I did not care to know.

It felt like the evil glee in Julie's eyes kept mocking me repeatedly.

For a moment, the logical part of my brain turned off.

I just wanted to curl into myself and cry.

I did not take Chase to be this kind of person.

I knew that what I saw might just be what Julie wanted me to see.

Still, my heart pulsated in intense pain.

I could not stand it.

I could not stand seeing Chase with another woman.

He was mine.

When I was leaving, I heard footsteps following me. I knew that Chase was chasing after me.

I knew he wanted to explain but I did not want to see him right now.
