Chapter Thirty Four

Her sobs were met with Lucas's cold, unwavering gaze. "He understood me more than you ever did, Lucas. He's alway there to listen to me, to make me satisfied. I cannot explain it more," Ivanka pleaded, her tears flowing freely, but he remained unconvinced.

"If that is true, why did you leave? Why not go back to him? Go back to him and continue being satisfied from whatever hunger you have and leave me the hell alone!" Lucas retorted.

"I know I was wrong, but I must make you understand it wasn't entirely my fault. I want you back, Lucas. I want us to return to our prior state," Ivanka begged, reaching out to touch him, but he recoiled as if avoiding a fiery object.

"After five years, you come back and still shift the blame onto me, portraying yourself as the victim? I wonder how I never saw through your manipulation. It's a pity I was so blind, now you ' want me back?'" Lucas let out a dry laught and then walked closer to her, "I will be damn to give you access into my life. Listen car
