She was aware that she may not have access to all of the company's crucial documents, but she would still have enough time to gather the necessary evidence to bring down the company which would be a huge blow to Trevor and his father.

"Why the hesitation?" Ethan Maddox inquired when Emma zoned out, offering no response. Quickly snapping out of her reverie, Emma forced a smile onto her face.

"I will resign from my current job then, and begin on Wednesday, if that is suitable for you?" Emma fibbed, not wanting him to know that she had not been employed previously. Ethan reciprocated her smile with a nod.

"Upon your departure, a copy of the company's employee work document, accompanied by a folder containing all necessary information about the company, will be presented to you. Alternatively, the documents can be signed on Wednesday, as per your request," Ethan smiled at Emma, his taste for seduction evident as he licked his lips while she smoothed down a stray strand of hair.

"Thank you
