POV: Ericka

She feels embarrassed about what she did to Monte. Her conscience is attacking her. Why does she have to be so quick to blame? The guy might think she's assuming too much. She peeked at him; he's still covered with a blanket. She decided to move to the side to avoid waking up Nanay Perlita.

She turned off the light on the headboard and the lamp on her side. Monte doesn't like it too dark when sleeping, so she left the lamp on his side. She lay down, covered herself, and turned to her left, facing the side table.

Perhaps influenced by the alcohol she drank, she slept quickly embraced him.

She didn't notice anything until morning. Her sleep was so blissful. She was about to stretch when she felt herself embraced by someone. "Oh, shit," she muttered in her thoughts. She realized her clothes were pulled up to her neck. The person next to her seemed sound asleep. Carefully, she removed their arm draped over her.
