Monte entered the meeting hall a week after being confronted by Mrs. Dominguez. He knew the issue revolved around his actions concerning her daughter and the possible removal from his position. All the board of directors, including Mrs. Dominguez and her daughter Khaye, who spread rumors about him, were present.

As they entered, Monte and Mrs. Dominguez were guided to seats by the señor, surrounded by other shareholders. The atmosphere resembled a Senate hearing, and the señor began by acknowledging Mrs. Dominguez's complaint.

"Well, this meeting was called due to the complaint of a board of director, Mrs. Dominguez. You may proceed," said the señor.
