Chapter 7: His Game

There was a haze in the sky, so the moon surrounded by bluish rings. It looked like a beautiful silver ball setting on the velvet cushion. I was here at the terace of our room waiting for him to go home despite the blistering cold.

I was wondering what is he doing right now? Is he doing something stupid? What if he does? What will I do? I don't know what I can to him, All I know is I won't let him tainted my name. I know he is capable on doing that but don't he dare.

I looked at my watch and it's already two in the morning and yet he's not coming home.

I sigh. "Maybe my husband is not coming home."

I went inside our room and locked the glass door of the terrace. I covered it with the ivory colored curtain.

I jumped into the bed and cover myself with the soft comforter. I turned off the lamp-shade and close my eyes— letting my sleepness consumed me.
