Alicia's POV

Nathan dropped me off at Mrs. Cadry's office the next morning. Knowing one thing about someone changes what you think or feel about them. This morning, while he drove me to the office, I couldn't look at him or even stare at him.

It was as if I'd done something terrible to him. I've lived all through the marriage hating him because of the messages I got and now, I don't even know if what I saw was true.

Seeing is believing they say, but I still don't want to believe what I saw or heard through Beverly. I wanted all the things I'd thought, all the reasons I'd hated Nathan to be true.

After he dropped me off, I walked up to a receptionist who led me to the waiting room so I could wait for Mrs. Cadry to see me. When I got the message last night, I was super excited about doing what I love the most.
